Sarah Bethany is bringing together 7 of the most beloved singers and musicians on the Hawai’i Island for a reverent evening of vocal centric Christmas music, with a focus on the most sacred and beautiful Christmas songs of all time, such as O Holy Night, Mary Did You Know, Carol of the Bells, Silent Night, and many more! It will be a celebration of the Christmas spirit and an experience of peace, joy, beauty, and love. Wine and Buffet included.

Bios of the Artists:
Sarah Bethany is a music artist, vocalist, pianist, and songwriter living on the Hilo side of Hawai’i island. She graduated from the UMKC Conservatory of Music, where she studied classical piano with world renowned pianist, Dr. Kristín Jónína-Taylor. Also, a world class vocalist, Sarah studied with vocal coach, James Meny, for many years. She started writing and producing original songs and instrumental music which led her to pitch for film and TV. In 2023, her song "Speak Easy", was featured in the opening scene of a prime-time TV show on ABC. She is co-founder of a music production team, called Mana Music and Media, alongside musician/producer, Michael Surprenant, and renowned orchestrator, Bryan Crook. The team also includes Olivier Award recipient, Grammy and Tony Award nominee, August Eriksmoen, and Emmy Award winner, Dave Pierce. Sarah Bethany was the vocal arranger and secondary vocalist on two Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning albums and she had the honor of accompanying legendary artists such as Kenny Loggins and John Cruz at the Hawai’i Songwriting Festival. She has also performed with Grammy Award winning jazz giants, Eric Marienthal and Donald Harrison. Currently, she is working on an album with multi-platinum selling songwriter Pam Sheyne, most well known for writing Christina Aguilera’s debut hit single, "Genie In A Bottle." Together, Sarah and Pam have a vocal duo music project called EVA.
Matthew Spencer is widely regarded as Hawai’i Island’s best musician. His humble, beautiful spirit comes out as a visceral, passionate guitarist, bassist, vocalist and percussionist. Among Matt’s specialties are Salsa and Latin jazz. Matt enjoys the collaborative artistic effort as a dance accompanist, playing guitar and percussion for Modern, improv and Tap dance classes. Matt’s solo playing is equal to his ensemble playing, and through his commanding skills of sight reading, improvisation, and adaptability he continuously demonstrates the highest level of musicianship.
Maka Gallinger is a Hawaiian advocate, activist, singer-songwriter, recording artist and accomplished performer from the Island of Hawai’i. Known for her powerful voice and a distinctive style of playing the ukulele, Maka creates music that is true to who she is. A mother of four, homeschooling parent living off grid, her family and faith in God has shaped who she is as a person. Her lifestyle fuels her message and music for the world today as she shares songs of personal trials, hope, love and revolution from the inside out.
Jesse Snyder is an extremely compelling and, when needed, explosive vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. As a musician and arranger on a Grammy Award nominated album and a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning album, you can hear Jesse’s musical prowess as a singer, tenor and baritone saxophonist, flautist and clarinetist. Jesse has toured extensively and played at some of the most prestigious venues in the United States such as the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center. His personality flourishes when he is on stage and absolutely loves to bring great performances to audiences everywhere.
Josh Timmons is one of Hawai’i Island’s most powerful vocalists. Born and raised on Big Island, he got his BA in Performing Arts with a music concentration at the University of Hawai’i, Hilo. As an educated musician and multi-instrumentalist, he has served as music director and vocal director for local projects and has extensive touring experience. In 2018, he received a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award with Kahulanui as part of their celebrated horn section.
K. Kuulei Kanahele, known as “Kuulei Music,” is a singer/songwriter, an educator, and homestead farmer. She is mostly recognized for her activism and the educational videos she shares on social media. Musically, she is known to perform “Hawaii Aloha” at Holo Holo Festivals throughout the continental United States and has been invited to play in California, Washington State, Las Vegas, and the prestigious White House in Washington, D.C. She has had the honor of opening for renowned artists such as Iam Tongi, The Green, and J Boog.
Pohai Makamae is a kanaka maoli singer songwriter raised on the east side of Maui. She is known for powerful and emotional vocal performances and meaningful songwriting. Drawing on many genres including acoustic soul, indie, R&B, and roots reggae, her Island girl magic comes through her extraordinary vocal prowess. Her original music reflects the interconnectedness of ‘aina, kupuna and ‘ohana.
Michael Surprenant is a drummer who graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is also a highly regarded music producer, sound engineer, recording engineer, and co-founder of Mana Music and Media, with full production studios operating on the Hilo side of Hawai’i Island and in New York City. Two of the albums he produced won the prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award, for jazz album of the year and contemporary acoustic album of the year. He loves to support and work with independent music artists as an integral part of his lifelong dream of contributing to truly timeless music.

As always, this special evening will include our full buffet, white wine, iced tea and seltzer water. For this special evening we are featuring foods by the extraordinary culinary artist, Chef Dray Wilson, whose fresh, local, and exquisitely crafted cuisine will elevate this evening into a true sensory experience. With every detail designed to delight, this will be a night of unforgettable music, exquisite dining, and breathtaking ocean and sunset views.
